Hey Hanne, I just became acquainted with your blog through your “Real Women” post, which was fantastic! I just read several of your recent posts, and wanted to say hi and that I really enjoy your blog voice! Your chicken and dumplings picture is making me regret the “chicken and dumplings” I ate at the university cafeteria last week even more than I did at the time, and I would not have believed that possible. That photo is mocking me, with its “see what REAL chicken and dumplings can do?” attitude.

Also, “manger danger” indeed.

I just made a basic pie crust, my usual recipe. Fat, flour, salt, a little sugar, some cold water, done. The stars did rise up nicely and were very flaky, I was very happy with that.
