A Most Extraordinary Cat
My elder cat, Mrs. Calabash, is a most extraordinary Elder Statescat. In her honor, I made her a beaded formal collar to be worn on state occasions.
She deigned to model it for the camera shortly after it was completed.
Is she not most elegant and regal? And she keeps her tuxedo front so gleaming white, even as a fifteen-year-old, that even the finest jewelry finds itself less dazzling by comparison. She is, as my grandfather might’ve said, a Mighty Fine Cat.
